Five Grand Prix races to start hour earlier for safety reasons in wake of Bianchi crash
THE Australian, Malaysian, Chinese, Japanese and Russian races will all
start an hour earlier this year for safety reasons in the wake of Jules
Bianchi's horror crash at the Japanese GP last year.
After Bianchi's life-threatening crash into a
mobile crane beside the track at Suzuka, an FIA panel have decreed that
no race will start, "less than four hours before either sunset or dusk,
except in the case of night races."

British star Jolyon Palmer, the son of former GP racer Jonathan has been
handed his F1 break by being named Lotus's reserve driver.
