Arsenal and Man Utd target Wesley Sneijder told to join Jose Mourinho at Chelsea
ARSENAL and Manchester United target Wesley Sneijder is being encouraged
to join Chelsea, by current Netherlands manager Louis van Gaal.
Sneijder, a long-term target of Arsenal and
United, is being urged to leave the Turkish champions and join his
former Inter Milan manager Jose Mourinho at Chelsea.
"I know Chelsea and Jose Mourinho want Sneijder," van Gaal told Vatan.
"In my opinion, if possible Sneijder should leave Galatasaray and join Chelsea.
"Playing under Mourinho again would improve his performances and help him regain his form for the national team."
The
29-year-old during his spell with Mourinho at Inter won the treble,
which included capturing the Champions League crown by beating German
giants Bayern Munich in 2010.
Sneijder only joined Galatasaray in
January for €7.5m following four years in Italy and has made 23
appearances scoring five goals in that time.
