Premier League Weekend Predictions

After a good run on Sky Sports' Super 6, I have decided to share a few of my predictions. I'll give the outcomes and the reasons why I have chose them.

Newcastle United vs Chelsea

Newcastle United0-2Chelsea

What's your prediction?

Newcastle away is a hard game for a lot of teams and I can see Mourninho setting up his team in a less than adventurous way. The Chelsea attack should shine through against a pretty weak Newcastle defence.

Fulham vs Manchester United

Fulham1-2Manchester United

What's your prediction?

Manchester United haven't been the force that we are used to this season, but three wins on the bounce gives them a bit of momentum for this game. Meanwhile, Fulham have a lot of talent in their squad and will provide tough opposition for Moyes's men. I think it will be a close game with United edging it.

Hull City vs Sunderland

Hull City2-0Sunderland

What's your prediction?

Sunderland have just got a terrific result at Newcastle, but I am still not convinced by them. There are still a lot of players settling in and I don't think Poyet knows what his best line up is. Hull City have had a solid start and I am sure Steve Bruce will be wanting to get one over on his former employers. Hull are unbeaten at home this season and Sunderland are yet to win away, so it has to be a Hull win.

Manchester City vs Norwich City

Manchester City4-0Norwich City

What's your prediction?

Manchester City have been in great form at home this season with a 100% win record and scoring an average of just over three goals per game. Norwich find themselves in the relegation zone and could be without key player Robert Snodgrass. This game can only end one way and that is with Manchester City giving them a thrashing.

Stoke City vs Southampton

Stoke City0-1Southampton

What's your prediction?

After a very unusual 4-4 draw against Birmingham in the League Cup, Stoke City will want to tighten up their defence for the visit of Southampton. Southampton can boast about having the tightest defence in the league, conceding just three goals all season. Stoke are joint lowest scorers with just six goals, so I would expect Southampton to notch up another clean sheet and get a narrow victory over Stoke.

West Bromwich Albion vs Crystal Palace

West Bromwich Albion2-0Crystal Palace

What's your prediction?

Crystal Palace are still without a manager and look like a very poor team this season. They still haven't managed a single point on the road and I can't see them getting one here. Steve Clarke will make sure his players know this isn't a given and make sure they work hard during the game. West Brom should win this relatively comfortably.

West Ham United vs Aston Villa

West Ham United1-2Aston Villa

What's your prediction?

Aston Villa have the 5th best away record this season and will look to continue their form into this game. Big Sam's team have not been very solid at home this season, losing three out of their four games. I would expect a tight game here and it's very difficult to call, but I think Villa may sneak a win here.

Arsenal vs Liverpool

Arsenal2-2Liverpool

What's your prediction?

This game has two teams who like to play football and I am expecting a few goals. Cazorla returns for Arsenal in this game and I'm sure him and Ozil could provide some nice balls for Giroud. Liverpool have arguably the best striker partnership in the league with Suarez and Sturridge and they will look to continue their form. I think it will be a very entertaining draw.

Everton vs Tottenham Hotspur

Everton1-1Tottenham Hotspur

What's your prediction?

The teams are in great form, but I think they would both take a draw from this one. Tottenham haven't been scoring many in the league this season and it will be a challenge playing against Martinez's Everton. Lukaku will be handful for the Tottenham defence. I think this will be a decent game but with the spoils shared.

Cardiff City vs Swansea City

Cardiff City1-1Swansea City

What's your prediction?

This is going to be a very feisty game with both of the Welsh teams getting stuck into each other. I think form goes out of the window for a game such as this and it will be decided by who wants it more. I am expecting a scrappy game which neither team will want to lose, leading to a draw.
