First-half strikes from the Spanish striker and Ramires
sealed the win for Jose Mourinho's men, who dominated the opening 45
minutes against their League One opponents.
And Torres hopes boss
Mourinho will play him more after his impressive display away at
Swindon, with the London derby against Spurs just a few days away.
"Hopefully I will have more opportunities to play in the Premier League," Torres told Sky Sports after the victory.
The season is long and we have time to play important games. We will all be involved.
"We are in the manager's plans. We have 25 players squad in the squad and it is difficult to play in this great team.
"For the players who have not played in the last few matches it was good to play - everyone is happy. It is one step forward."
Torres originally signed for Chelsea from Liverpool for £50m in 2011.
