A host of top clubs from around Europe are tracking highly-rated Barcelona youngster Antonio Sanabria.

The 17-year old joined Barcelona's famous La Masia football academy when he was 13-years old. Currently, he is playing for Barcelona B in the second division in Spain, but according to reports in Spain four of the top clubs in Europe are chasing Barcelona's starlet.

Sanabria's agent said: "Arsenal, AS Roma and AC Milan? They are concrete options, of course, but not the only ones",

It is said that one of the other clubs is Liverpool and that sources close to Brendan Rodgers revealed the manager is eyeing a January move for the youngster.

However, it is not inconceivable that he will stay at Barcelona and will extend his contract.

All of these teams are looking to get stronger through the transfer window. Arsenal, Liverpool and Roma opened their season well and will look for new signings in January to make sure to finish this season with a trophy and hopefully a Champions League spot. This is unlike Milan, who are looking for new signings in order to improve their sluggish start to the season. With an unexpected slow start in Serie A, it is likely they will make massive changes in January.

He might eventually stay at Barcelona, but if he does, he is less likely to get first-team opportunities. With top European clubs expressing interest in the Paraguayan starlet, he could opt to make the move to a club challenging for European places where he will he see the pitch.
