According to the Mirror, Juventus are eyeing a move for Manchester United's Portuguese winger, Nani.

Juventus have expressed their interest in Nani in the past, but it now seems they are prepared to act on that interest as the Italian giants are reportedly willing bid £18 million for him when the transfer window opens in a couple of days.

Although Nani recently penned a new five-year deal to stay at Old Trafford, Juventus remain keen on luring the 27-year-old away. However, after recently picking up a hamstring injury, it is said that the Old Lady will only move for the midfielder if he can prove his fitness before the end of the January window.

With Nani and Ashley Young not being the consistent wide men United need, it could be a position that Manchester United boss David Moyes looks to strengthen in the January window. United have previously been linked with a move Real Madrid winger Angel Di Maria. If Nani were to make the move, this could make way for a player of Di Maria's calibre in January.

Nani has been given the go ahead by David Moyes to leave in January as he has found it hard to find consistent form under the new United boss. The midfielder has been in and out of the United team since joining from Sporting Lisbon in a £22 million move in 2007. Many reckon his inconstancy comes from being in the spot light after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
