Stuart Hall hoping for a big money fight
STUART HALL hopes to transform himself from punching pauper to loaded world champion.
The Darlington boxer faces South African Vusi Malinga in a shock shot at the vacant IBF bantamweight title in Leeds on Saturday.
Hall,
33, has been beaten for British and European titles by domestic rivals
Lee Haskins and Jamie McDonnell in the last two years – but has still
landed the chance to catapult himself into the big time.
He quit his roofing job to concentrate on boxing and said: “I’ve got
two children. My wife has gone back to work. Without her and my sponsor I
wouldn’t be able to do this sport.
“If I win this and get offered a big fight in Las Vegas as champion I’d go straight away.”
