Manchester City's Fernandinho says moving to City has kept his World Cup dreams alive
FERNANDINHO says moving to Manchester City has helped reignite his World Cup hopes.

And he hopes to get the chance to impress Brazil boss Luiz Felipe Scolari ahead of this summer’s showpiece in his homeland in next month’s friendly against South Africa.
Fernandinho, 28, who joined City in a £30m summer move from Shakhtar Donetsk, said: “It is a dream to play in the World Cup in my country – maybe the most important thing in my career.
“I knew that if I played well for Manchester City, I had a chance to get back in the national team.““I knew that if I played well for Manchester City, I had a chance to get back in the national team”Fernandinho
"Also a few months of good performances by me and my team-mates they have paid attention in Brazil.
"It's been two years since I've been in the squad so I'm excited."
