Manchester United Will Reportedly Triple Toni Kroos's Wages if He Leaves Bayern Munich
Manchester United are alleged to be willing to offer Toni
Kroos three times his current Bayern Munich wages in order to convince him
that his future lies at Old Trafford ,rather than in Germany.
The Daily Mirror
is reporting that should he choose to join David Moyes' United revolution,
Kroos would be paid a salary of £250,000-per-week, an amount that makes what he earns now look comparatively insignificant.
Having recently been described by the Berliner
Zeitung newspaper as "the only German footballer who fully fulfils the
complex profile as a box-to-box midfielder", Kroos could be the perfect
acquisition for a United midfield which has looked weak this season.
The Old Trafford club were initially believed to be
interested in recruiting Kroos in January. The midfielder's future at Bayern
has been under increasing scrutiny in recent weeks and months, and, though no
deal occurred during the winter transfer window, it is suggested that a summer move
could be on the cards.

Kroos is currently believed to be earning around €86,000-per-week and is seeking a new Bayern contract that would significantly increase his wages to €125,000-per-week. But, despite the player's apparent importance to the club, showcased with his recent Champions League performance against Arsenal, the reigning German and European champions are believed to be unwilling to meet his demands.
However, recently speaking to German media, Kroos maintained that he remains "happy" at Bayern and is not looking for a move away from the club where he began his professional career. Bayern manager Pep Guardiola is also believed to want the German international to commit his future to the club, though in January he did not rule out the possibility of a move, stating "... things can move fast in football. Here today, gone tomorrow".
It is alleged that Bayern would entertain the notion of selling for a fee of around £30m, which would leave the decision on his future down to Kroos himself. If Bayern truly are unwilling to meet his wage demands in a new contract, then United's alleged offer of £250,000-per-week could suddenly become very attractive.
