Andrew Selby continued his winning streak since the Olympics to remain on target for glory at the world amateur championships.
Selby booked his place in tomorrow's flyweight quarter-finals by beating Cuban Gerardo Tejeria to extend his winning run to 17 fights.
The two-time European champion dominated Tejeria at the championships in Almaty, Kazakhstan, winning unanimously 3-0.
The Welshman will face Kazakh Ilyas Suleimenov today for a place in the semi-finals.
Selby's compatriot and Olympic silver medallist Fred Evans joined him in the last eight, unanimously beating Kenyan Rayton Okwiri.
