Cristiano Ronaldo has been linked with a summer move to Paris Saint-Germain, following rumours that he has been taking French lessons in Spain.

The world's second most expensive player had been linked with a move away from the Bernabeu recently but signed a whopping £76million contract in September.

It is believed PSG would have to pay in the region of 120 million Euros to prize the Portuguese away from Los Blancos.

Ronaldo currently earns more than £1m a month in Spain but could increase his wages further by joining the French champions.

He has scored an incredible 214 goals in 210 appearances for Madrid but speculation regarding his happiness at the club has been rife for a number of months.

During the close-season, the former Manchester United winger was frequently linked with a move back to Old Trafford, but that no longer appears likely following Sir Alex Ferguson's retirement.

Indeed, many bookmakers now offer odds as long as 7/1 that Ronaldo returns to the Red Devils, suggesting a move back to England is unlikely.

PSG on the other hand have landed several big-name stars over the last two years, including Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Thiago Silva and Edinson Cavani.

Their growing reputation and financial muscle are thought to be sufficient to tempt Real Madrid's biggest asset away from the Spanish capital, but as yet no bid has been tabled.
