I suppose the most famous Aston Villa fan across the globe is Prince William, and according to his highness, the second-most famous supporter will be his newly-christened son Prince George. The elder Prince made a video message this week for the Football Association’s 150th birthday and got in a few digs at reigning champions Man United. William said, "When Villa thrash Man U at Villa Park, my son will be there."

For those of you who may not know, Prince William is actually the FA’s president and is scheduled to open the organization’s fancy dinner on October 26, perhaps as a standup comedian? The dinner will be filled with some of the greatest names in football as well as Michel Platini and Sepp Blatter.

William’s video also goes on to tell the guests how proud he is to be associated with the FA. "I've always loved football since I was a young boy. I've never got any better at it but I keep saying to myself if you keep trying, eventually something will happen. It's always meant a great deal to me being president of the FA.”

So there you have it, Prince William has predicted that Villa will thrash United at home in front of his son. Who knows, Prince George could be the King of England by the time it happens.
