Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund Target Julian Brandt Set to Leave Wolfsburg
Chelsea, Dortmund and Bayern Munich have all expressed their interest in highly-rated 17-year old, Julian Brandt, on more than one occasion. There a rumours that there are several other top European clubs eyeing a move for the winger as well.
Wolfsburg have been attempting to convince the youngster to sign a new contract with the club, but he has now rejected their offer and is set to become available on a free transfer when his contract runs out at the end of the 2013-2014 season.
A Wolfsburg spokesperson commented: "Julian Brandt has turned down the offer to sign a new contract with VfL Wolfsburg. As he is out of contract at the end of the campaign, Julian Brandt will therefore depart from VfL Wolfsburg."
Julian Brandt has represented Germany at the under-15, under-16 and under-17 level and currently plays for the under-19's. The left winger has not yet made an appearance in the Bundesliga, but he is regarded as a top talent.
