Boxing: Carl Froch Why i'll batter jealous George Groves
CARL FROCH can recall the exact moment he began to detest “jealous” George Groves.
Groves,
25, has been repeatedly trying to get under Froch’s skin in the
build-up to Saturday’s encounter and he certainly seems to have done
that.
Froch said: “He’s no fan of mine. He doesn’t like me. Maybe it’s because he considers me a competitor.
“It’s my job to make him pay, but it would be self-destructive to think negative thoughts about Groves and let that fuel me.
“The fact George Groves is horrible
has helped me a bit in my training, but the end result will be the same.
People like him don’t beat people like me.
“It’s not if I beat him, it’s how I beat him. The fight is already won.
“That’s not arrogance, that’s confidence. I’ve already beaten him, I want to outclass him and make it look easy.
“I want to make it look like he shouldn’t be in there.”
