Rugby Union: Wales camp fear Eli Walker will miss Autumn tests
WALES fear that winger Eli Walker could miss the whole of their autumn
campaign after injury cruelly denied him a Test debut against South
Africa tomorrow.
It is terrible luck for 21-year-old Walker, who was set to replace the injured Alex Cuthbert.
His latest blow comes after hamstring and back trouble ruled him out of the Six Nations and Wales’ summer tour to Japan.
“The likelihood is he might not be available for the whole of the series,” said Wales assistant coach Rob Howley.
After South Africa, Wales face Argentina, Tonga and Australia.
