Chelsea and Manchester City have been put on red alert after Sergio Ramos had a major fall-out at Real Madrid.
Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti was caught on TV criticising Ramos for being sent off against Galatasaray.
The Spanish defender was already annoyed that Los Blancos president Florentino Perez refused to give him a bumper new contract after the arrival of Gareth Bale.
It has left Ramos’s future uncertain and there will be no shortage of takers, particularly from the Premier League.
Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho had a turbulent time at Real Madrid alongside Ramos but wants a top quality defender. City manager Manuel Pellegrini also wants defensive reinforcements and would be keen on Ramos.
Ramos is now third-choice centre-back this season, behind Pepe and 20-year-old French defender Raphael Varane
