Carl Froch is deadly serious: He must defeat George Groves
CARL FROCH says he is more motivated than ever to overcome “childish” challenger George Groves next week.
The Cobra defends his IBF and WBA world super-middleweight titles against Groves at the Manchester Arena a week on Saturday.
And
the challenger, 25, has been attacking Froch, claiming that the
Nottingham fighter received lucky verdicts in many of his fights.
There
is no love lost between the pair and Froch, 36, is using the anger he
feels towards the unbeaten Groves to ensure he is in peak condition for
the clash.
The champion, who has lost just two of his 33 contests,
said: “I have got that extra little bit of edge mentally, with it being
George Groves, because of his arrogance and childishness.
