NFL: Miami Dolphins in bullying storm
FOR someone named Richie Incognito, the Miami Dolphins lineman attracted a lot of attention this week.
Incognito, at 6ft 3ins and 23st, has been booted out for bullying a team-mate.
Jonathan Martin left the team after a dining room incident involving Incognito, who has been suspended by his club.
Voice mails left for Martin by Incognito have been unearthed which include racial insults and threats.
There have been claims Incognito was asked by coaches to toughen up Martin, but took the order too far.
Incognito said: “I’m just trying to weather the storm. This will pass.”
With the Dolphins struggling, the bullying issue promises to attract more attention than anything on the field.
The Green Bay
Packers’ star quarterback Aaron Rodgers will only be out for about
three weeks after breaking his collarbone. Rodgers, Super Bowl MVP
three years ago, went down in Monday’s 27-20 defeat to the Chicago Bears
and initial fears were that his season was over.
