Anthony Joshua: I'll be the best in the world
ANTHONY JOSHUA is backing himself to become the world’s best heavyweight boxer.
The London 2012 super-heavyweight gold medallist will make his professional debut on Saturday at London’s O2 Arena against unbeaten Italian Emanuele Leo.
Joshua, 23, said: “My goal is to be undisputed world champion.
“Until I get there, you won’t see a flash, cocky Anthony Joshua. I don’t want to talk much trash.“I don’t want to promise things I can’t deliver, I want to back things up.
‘‘I’ve got to work hard and start climbing up the ladder – just like I did in the amateurs.”
Saturday’s fight is his first since the Olympics and he added: “Turning professional is the right way to go because it is a new mountain to climb, there are new goals and you have to go for it.”
