Manchester City captain Vincent Kompany OUT of clash with West Ham
MANCHESTER CITY will be without captain Vincent Kompany for Saturday's evening kick-off with West Ham at Upton Park.
Kompany is making good progress in his recovery, however will not be risked for the clash against the Hammers.
Summer signing Martin Demichelis, who made his first appearance for City in a development squad match earlier this week, is not ready for inclusion into the first-team.
However manager Manuel Pellegrini has been boosted by the return of midfielder Jack Rodwell.
The former Everton star has been sidelined with a hamstring complaint, but is named in Pellegrini's provisional squad.
